We have a prayer pillow ministry at our church to reach out to those who need to be lifted up and know that there is a God who loves them and cares for them.
Our ministry began when a man in our church became sick with cancer. While he was taking his chemo treatments, another cancer patient reached out to him and gave him a prayer pillow. The prayer pillow made Wade feel closer to God. Everyone was praying for him to have the strength and peace of God as he was going through his treatments.
A lady from our church, Rose, immediately felt a calling from God to start this ministry. She has a talent for crafts and sewing and has recruited others to assist with this ministry.
We are reaching out to all people to touch their hearts, their souls and their lives. We pray over each pillow before we share them with others. We hope to be God’s mission workers in his world and help to be his contact with his children across the world.
